Torco SR-1 vs Schaeffer 7000

I have a vw 1.8turbo. I am currently using Torco SR-1 5w-40. Does anyone else use this oil or can chime in if this oil is any good. Further, I am interest in using Schaeffers 7000 in 5w-40, can anyone give there opinions on this oil. I would like to know which one is the better of the two. My car is mainly steet driven hard. Thanx
