Hello:

I own a older Skidoo Mxz 583 Rotax (1996) model. I havent much used my snowmobile much the last few winters. I have always run the regular Bombardier Rotax 2 Cycle injector oil. It retails here for $25 Canadian for a refill for 4 litres or $29 Canadian for a new jug! I called a local motorcycle /snowmobile dealer and he said they hace Torco Semi-Syn and Torco Full Synth avaialble. Semi syn ( Which i assume is the SPO line) is $21 Can for a 4 Litre refill!) Can I use this in my later model sled motor? Anyone here with Torco 2-stroke oil experience, what are your opinions thoughts etc? I have always assumed torco was a quality name, if someone knows otherwise please speak up. Thanks everyone , looking forward to some responses.

I have ran Torco GP-7 in my air cooled bikes out here in the SoCal desert and never had any problems. Heck I ran the same sparkplug for 10 years in my 82' ATC250R and never even pulled the jug! I rode that thing every weekend too.

I will only use GP-7 in my 2-stroke stuff.

I dunno how it would do in colder climates.

I run 40:1
