I haven't posted here in years, but, inspired by the work of 53 foot Stude and Brendan C, as well as everyone else, here's a filter. I've recently had some back and neck trouble, and the last time this car needed an oil change, I had a local shop do it. They used Race Team 5w-30, and this Top Lube oil filter. Made in China, natch. They used to use Group 7, maybe these are cheaper? Car is a 2003 Hyundai Elantra that my Dad bought new, and has been faithful transportation for several members of the family. I took possession of it 10 years ago when my Dad passed.

I cut it open with a band saw, which is why you see sparkles, and scratches on the bottom of the filter itself. I have to say, I'm favorably impressed with the quality of a cheap filter like this. No glue slopped everywhere, no tears, reasonably flexible nitrile ADBV, coil spring.
