Took off my Max's valve cover

I had a gasket for the front valve cover on my car and decided to change it just because I wanted to look under the valve cover. It has 115k miles on it and I had it since 80k in 2009. As far as I can remember, I've only put conventional in it twice. Mostly Pennzoil Oil changes every 5k miles with 1-2 quarts of top up oil in between. Just put Nextgen in it today.

Not sure what the brown spots on the cam lobes (think I'm using the right term) are. Varnish maybe?

I have a feeling this car will last me a long time.

It has half the miles though. Hey if your engine works at 240k then you must be doing something right.
