Very true. I may have over $400 worth in my stash

, but oil isn't getting any cheaper, and I'm investing in quality oils, so I still think I'll end up ahead. As long as I use it all by the end.

I plan to use for 8k miles and have a sample tested. that should be around 6 months, so ~$10 a month or less pending lab results

thats 1/12th of a penny every month, or 1 penny a year for oil changes.

i also did the PP make money after rebate, so when the tection is used up and i go to platnum, my yearly oil change will cost me -9.99

You Yanks are so lucky. I went down to the US for a day trip last week and saved a bundle over the prices up here. I promised myself not to buy any oil since I stocked up on about 40 quarts last month, but I couldn't resist grabbing an oil filter and air filter. Air filter is $10.88 there, $19.88 here, both at Walmart, both Fram, same part number! Nutty.

As long as you trust they wont strip your oil pan out or leave the old filter on the vehicle.
