Tires causing bumpy ride quality?

Yep the new Firestones I have now are broken in a bit and the truck rides really well now that I have gotten used to it. I had a date this past weekend and she even commented on how smooth and solid the truck rode. Even a tire that looks "good" and is a good brand like Michelin can have internal problems. For now though my Dakota is doing fine.

Jimmy,

I hope you took my advice and got an alignment. I think that was the cause of the "internal problems" and the problems will return unless you fix it.

Yes, I had it aligned twice about 10 days before I got my new tires. They had to do it a 2nd time to get the steering wheel straight. The truck tracked straight but the steering wheel was off center a few degrees after the first test drive. Truck rides and steers great now.
