Tire was plugged should l get it patched?

I've never had a plug fail. We used to live in an area where a heavy amount of home construction was going on and I had 4 plugs in one tire on my wife's Jaguar. I wanted to replace the tires but held off because it just kept happening so I waited until construction completed to do anything about it.
