A/S tires available in APRIL ? Prefer RT43 and would consider Continental ( True Contact , other ) , Yokohama or other if needed . Tire size is 15 and be H .

Raw materials for tires are pretty readily available, I wouldn't be concerned. They're also produced domestically so shipping is less of a concern. Where we're seeing issues are products that have dozens or hundreds of parts with 1 or 2 being proprietary and slowing production of the entire module/widget or whatever example you want to use.

Actually, owning a vehicle with 15" wheels has shown me it's a somewhat "abandoned size".

Those huge 17" to 24" tires have taken all the manufacturing equipment time! (ha-ha)
I've encountered very limited selections of fifteens in shops long before this era of disease aftershocks and profiteering.
As above, don't freak but maybe drop by and see what they have. You got time.

You’re not alone. I’m still in the 15” club.

Try getting 14 inch. Much more difficult than 15".

It's really not that bad. I just bought a set of P215/70R14's, 6 months ago... and I had my choice of multiple sets... and that was with whitewalls.

Several choices in blackwall as well. Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II is available in many of those older 14 and 15 inch sizes. WalMart also sells the Douglas All Season in many of those older sizes as well, at a decent price as well.

My oldest SUV has 15" and I love that there are plenty of tire choices and fairly decent ones under $150/ea. Newer SUV, not so much, more like $200+

When I was getting some tires and checking on stuff 1 month ago, there was a guy at Costco who bought the 2 in stock of whatever size and carried out. Sales guy said they would try to order the other 2 but showed out of stock. Guy was headed to a couple other Costco's that showed 1 each.

Had to shop around and order the ones for sister-in-laws Traverse.

There is a tire shortage. When I started shopping for my latest set, I had 38 different options to choose from. I waited around for a rebate to come along and by the time it did, I was down to 4 options. Luckily, the tires I wanted were still available and had a rebate. The downside is that the rebate is for $17.50 but the tires went up by $23/tire over the course of my four month wait.

The guy at DT said that the premium tires are just going up in price but he doesn’t have too much difficulty getting them. He said the real people getting hurt are the ones that buy lower end tires or ones with obscure sizes.

There's a shortage of winter tyres in the 18, 19 and 20" sizes in Europe right now. France made winter tyres mandatory in mountainous regions during winter months since this year and apparently tyre makers didn't scale up production enough.

Significant shortages will occur due to ca likely US west coast port strike / lockout. Google it. Major importers (not of just tires) starting to stockpile due to this.

Doubt this very much. Especially when I can go to two warehouses for work stuff and they are way overfilled beyond capacity. They both get shipments in 4 times or more a week

RT43 are highly recommended on the MB forums (aside from the big M diehards). Have them on my MB now.
My only concern would be if I preferred a foreign made tire and the ships can't unload for an expanded period.
Ships back up, nobody puts stuff on ships, eventually the foreign manufacturers slow down. Demand exceeds supply and all that goes with it. Might have to take a second or third choice to make do.
