Tire Rack Closeouts

Watch the age on these, the LT245/75R16E Vredesteins I saw were already at 4 years old… So if you buy any, wear them out fast!
OP mentioned that in the first post but I'd wouldn't be afraid to run these 5-6 years.
They have 2022 DOM closeouts on Vredestein, Kumho, and Bridgestone in multiple sizes.

4 years in a climate controlled warehouse is not 4 years in AZ sun on car.
edit:
you can search with the closeout/specials option in their tire search menu.

They have 2023 pirelli weatheractive in the 275/55r20 (ram 1500 size) 4 tires for 639 shipped.+tax

Yeah, missed that. Some LT tires seem to be able to go a lot longer, too-two of the Hankook Dynapro AS ones on my ‘11 Express are 2012 manufacturer, they’re just starting to crack at the tread blocks a little.

Would a local store install tires with a 2022 manufacture date? I imagine they would give you some grief over that. Tire rack says they're stored in a climate controlled warehouse. I would go for it for an older vehicle that doesn't get driven too much probably.

That is exactly the situation I would not use old tires on. I would want to use them on a daily driven high miler. So I used them up as quickly as possible. Its not just cracking, but the compounds get harder and you lose dry, wet and cold temp traction.

I have a "garage queen" BMW with barely 21k miles but is now 8 years old and if I get too "spirited" on the throttle I can break lose the rear tires much more easily than then just a couple years ago. And this is on dry pavement. Its worse in the wet.
