tire balancing beads?????

I've been using Dynabeads in my motorcycle for a couple of years, they work great. I need a special adapter to even statically balance my motorcycle wheels and fit my tyres at home. I don't see the point with car tyres as every tyre shop has a balancer that will fit the wheels.

From that link-
The only totally true statement is that at rest, the beads settle to the bottom.
No tire is round - they distort at the bottom.
This is overlooked.
So is lateral balance, which is why real balancers with weights don't just put one weight on the middle.
And the term centripital force is used, when centrifugal is proper.

There is no doubt that some benefit occurs in some situations, but why not balance tires properly if you can?

Common on trucks, which can be very hard to balance. Seen them on motorhomes. I have driven trucks with them, they work well.

Sometimes, it's because someone doesn't want to put balance weights on his shiny Accuride aluminum wheels!
