Tire advice for AWD Ford Escape

I fixed the wheel bearings in our 2015 AWD Escape. There is excessive wear in the tires from the bad bearings so time to replace them as well.

My question is, seeing how we get snow in the winter,which tires are worth checking out?

The General AW365 received the highest score of 6.5/10 in winter weather driving from Tirerack out of the group it tested. I was reading some of the tire reviews yesterday on TR's website.

If you want premium name-brand tires, the Nokian Nordman Solstice 4 and the Toyo Celsius II are good choices

If you don't want to spend that much, the cheap all-weather tires like the Lexani Quattro Tempo AW and the Prinx Hiseason 4S HS1 are good. The MIlestar AW365 is a decent tire, but Milestar prices have been going up relative to other cheap tires' prices
