Time to support the local dealer....

Just picked up a 250 count of UMC 114gr. 9mm Luger at the local dealer. $75 for the box. Not bad, especially considering the way the USA has treated us Canucks lately.

He also had some Blazer (124gr. IIRC) and something else for $15 a box. Truth be told, I only bought the UMC for my incoming CX-4 Storm next week, so I can play with it right away. I'll put in an order next month for 5k rounds of commercial reloads (about the only way to get cheap ammo nowadays).

My tumbler gave up the ghost on me last week, not wanting to wait I went to my local gun shop picked one up, it was marked 59.99, took it up front to pay and it rang up 39.00. I told the lady that it was 59.99 so she checked, turns out they had a 35% off sale on selected reloading items and this was one.

Local Dealer FTW....

Guns are from the bowels of [censored] up here... LOL.

Still, we can get some neat stuff once in a blue moon...

This particular local dealer is a bit eccentric, but he won't do some [censored] price jumps on ammo and other items - that haven't moved from the shelf - unlike some OTHER dealers I know of...
