You can’t really complain about something and continue to participate in it, unless it’s totally necessary for your survival or wellbeing.

I would actually argue that the prices are not high enough if the arenas are sold out.

Her college is not Ivy (Quinnipiac) , UNH hockey got demolished 8-2 previous night and UNH made up with a closer win game(3-2) we watched. The seating is half of UNH .

Ah...I was thinking Cornell who is currently #8 and just had family weekend last week too. I lived a couple of years in Cheshire, CT, and used to hike the Sleeping Giant but never found my way into the rink at Quinnipiac.

But this is a monopoly where one company controls the distribution and subsequent resale.

My guess is Ivy League parents/alumni on a parent's weekend are pretty serious about their top 8 hockey team. I have a friend who went to BC and she said getting BC hockey tickets can be very difficult too because they're good and the rink isn't all that big. I couldn't even find parking at UNH for parent's weekend and so we ended up taking the kid out to lunch in Portsmouth and then turning around and going home.

I’m going to a 16U A game on Wed at PENN. Its tier II youth hockey. Amazing their rink is used for that. I wish they had a team. And that Princeton were closer.
