Baja!
OK, let’s have this discussion publicly, then.No cars destroyed here, thanks. No "wailing." This is a widely reported conspiracy theory and I mean at this point just say whatever you want I'm okay.
Whatever you say. I have no knowledge of what you're talking about and you say whatever you like I assure you it doesn't apply to me. They're going to say it anyway so go ahead and say it.OK, let’s have this discussion publicly, then.
Your current Subaru, with which you posted 100 MPH driving videos, is awaiting the installation of its 3rd engine in four years. Blew that one up three times to date.
You’ve blown up several, but perhaps I’m forgetting a few. In the past ten years, you’ve destroyed the Volvo XC. The Civic. The Blazer. The Expedition.
All abused. Videos of the abuse posted. They’re all junk, now.
So, you’re not making $60 on this run if you abuse your Mom’s Taurus- you’re costing her hundreds in repairs. A huge net loss.
That’s abusing the car. And your relationship.
Seriously this is a PHOTO thread, that YOU started with some "rules". My beef is not with your past or even what you do to survive. Pretty sure we are all pulling for you in that department.Trying to understand my "Metrics." On course to make $100 for my first two hours........View attachment 175480
A car that goes to the junkyard, with a blown engine, blown transmission, or other major component failure is junk.Whatever you say. I have no knowledge of what you're talking about and you say whatever you like I assure you it doesn't apply to me. They're going to say it anyway so go ahead and say it.
Whatever you're calling junk it's a net that's for whatever you to decide. Have whatever conversation you Wherever you like it's ok.
You can do whatever you want to. I'm really not concerned.A car that goes to the junkyard, with a blown engine, blown transmission, or other major component failure is junk.
I’m happy to link every post you’ve ever made on BITOG, many with videos, about those cars.
Shall we start with the Volvo?
That’s a hoot.Whatever you say. I have no knowledge of what you're talking about and you say whatever you like I assure you it doesn't apply to me. They're going to say it anyway so go ahead and say it.

Reckon that caliper is bad, then - if the other side is 60%After the party, coming home, wife’s car making a nasty scraping sound. It’s a GM so it could be one of about five things wrong with it right now. WHEW it’s the rear left brake, and not the power steering pump.
Get home 9 PM and slap new pads on the rear. Have two sets of Akebono ProActs in the basement so sacrifice one.
It isn’t the way I’d want to do it, I’d do pads and rotors, which I also have, But wife needs car all week.
The B6’s are the best thing about the car…
The disappointing thing is outward rear left pad gone and that wear thingy scraping…left inner fairly worn.
Right rears worn evenly and only about 60%….

Imagine kids doing that around here today. But I guess we played cowboys and indians. Each culture to it's own.
Like the Ouija boards when we were kids.. yeah some play toy.Imagine kids doing that around here today. But I guess we played cowboys and indians. Each culture to it's own.
Good thing their brethren in North America invented ice hockey, seems to be a much safer activity for young kids

Isn't it called mechanical sympathy? My dad instilled that concept in me. When I was younger I had coworkers who abused rental cars on purpose, I just kept my mouth shut as everyone else was amused.SLOW
DOWN
That is not your car. So, quit wailing on it.
Treat it gently, and maybe it won’t blow up like every single other car you’ve ever driven.
If you’re going to drive for a living, you have to stop destroying the cars, or you will always be broke. You will never break the cycle.
I live by that rule myself and the old generation was frugal.Isn't it called mechanical sympathy? My dad instilled that concept in me. When I was younger I had coworkers who abused rental cars on purpose, I just kept my mouth shut as everyone else was amused.
