OK, let’s have this discussion publicly, then.

Your current Subaru, with which you posted 100 MPH driving videos, is awaiting the installation of its 3rd engine in four years. Blew that one up three times to date.

You’ve blown up several, but perhaps I’m forgetting a few. In the past ten years, you’ve destroyed the Volvo XC. The Civic. The Blazer. The Expedition.

All abused. Videos of the abuse posted. They’re all junk, now.

So, you’re not making $60 on this run if you abuse your Mom’s Taurus- you’re costing her hundreds in future repairs. A huge net loss.

That’s abusing the car. And your relationship.

Seriously this is a PHOTO thread, that YOU started with some "rules". My beef is not with your past or even what you do to survive. Pretty sure we are all pulling for you in that department.


My beef is you are using a PHOTO thread to document with words and numbers and screen captures your job journey.


My advice: Start a new thread. It's not that your subject matter isn't interesting to me, it just isn't for everyone in a photo thread in the photo sub forum.

A car that goes to the junkyard, with a blown engine, blown transmission, or other major component failure is junk.

I’m happy to link every post you’ve ever made on BITOG, many with videos, about those cars.

The B6’s are the best thing about the car…

The disappointing thing is outward rear left pad gone and that wear thingy scraping…left inner fairly worn.

Right rears worn evenly and only about 60%…. 😡

Isn't it called mechanical sympathy? My dad instilled that concept in me. When I was younger I had coworkers who abused rental cars on purpose, I just kept my mouth shut as everyone else was amused.

I live by that rule myself and the old generation was frugal.
Depression era folks . Things don't come easy so take care of them...
