I can't start a thread in the appropriate forum for some reason, so I have to start it here. Why has the other forum been locked down? Now, to the important issue. That popup at the top of the screen every time I open a new thread is really annoying. If I do click on the "MORE INFO" tab (although I'm not interested in more information, it brings up a 404. Most importantly, if I click "OKAY" it still keeps coming up every time I open a new thread.

So, if this site is using cookies (which anyone with the slightest bit of computer skills already knows), why is it not using them correctly? That's the ultimate question. After all, if I clicked "OKAY" the software should be aware I've read the cookies message and do not want to be reminded with each thread I open.
 
Maybe someone's trying to fix the "blink and you're logged out" issue that's been a plague for a couple months now.
 
Keeps happening to me too. I clicked OK hoping it would stop but it keeps popping back up.

Same here. Using Chrome

That makes sense. Oddly, though, I haven't been able to replicate that error. I only have issues if I walk away from the computer for an extended period while logged in.

Same here with FireFox.
 
Yup, it has started doing it to me too and it is really annoying. Every page change it comes up and you have to hit ok. I too went to the help forum and couldn't post a new topic in there either.

It seems to have stopped. Fingers crossed it stays gone.
