Currently $64.83 for a 5 quart jug from Walmart (not a seller on Walmart, Walmart.com).

I've never actually seen a single quart or jug of this in a Walmart, ever and I'm there often to check out the auto stuff. There are none available for pickup in every Walmart around me either, a hot commodity for sure.

It looks like they screwed up the price. Pennzoil Platinum is usually only $22 or so. If you can't find it, your not looking. I can easily find this in a very small town Walmart.

And yes, they did mess something up I think. Given that they price the individual quarts around ~$7.00, makes no sense. Someone can buy five individual quarts cheaper than this.

Personally, I'm happy with Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 from Walmart and their $22.xx per 5L price.

A few of us have been waiting months for the NEW PUP price to drop down. I would be glad if it was back to around $27/jug like the old stuff.

I was told by a reliable source the price was an error, and there was a 5% increase to Pennzoil pricing. It appears there's no hurry in correcting the pricing at Walmart. Which doesn't surprise me, but a lot of loyal PU users are going to either switch to PP, or change brands altogether as a result. I have a pretty good stash, but if I run out before the pricing is fixed I'll be changing brands, not that it matters. lol

I have enough PUP to last me 2 years. If after 2 years they still don't have the PUP distribution and pricing fixed, I'll drop down to PP if it seems like they can at least get PP distributed and priced right.
