You all put way to much emphasize on these cold weather starts. Seriously 15w40 is fine. I started many Detroit diesels with straight 40 wt in 0 weather. 15w40 is fine for cold weather. Don't believe what you think till you try it. You ll be pleasantly surprised it was all fiction.
