Regular gas by me today was $3.15 per gallon.

I pulled up and the attendant came out and cleaned my windsheild and checked my oil and also checked my tire pressure while filling up my gas tank.

He was wearing a clean and pressed attendant uniform and he told me how he appreciated my business. He said that at these prices he is just about giving the gas away ....

Some smart guy on cable news says we will be at $2.50 a gallon by "Ground Hog Day" in February...and $2.00 by next summer....Hope he is right...!

Wish I still had my big old Ford Galaxie 500.../.

And then you woke up?

For 87 Octane gas to come down to $2/gal crude oil needs to go down to $40 or less a barrel, is it possible with high demand from China and India ?

No. Plus expect gas tax hikes to make up for any decreases.

I filled up with mid grade 89 Octane @ $3.98 earlier... Of course that was the special ethonol free gas I get at one of my local gas stations.

Regular 89 is like. $3.3x

Consider yourselves lucky.

Up here in the People's Republik of Kanada, we're paying the equivalent of about $4.85 per US gallon. And that's the lowest it's been in months.

Several stations around me were at $2.99 today.

To those of you paying under $3: I hate you.

Filled up with Mobil 93 for $3.659 tonight. That actually felt like a good deal.

That's a good deal. My nearest Mobil and Chevron stations charge $3.95 for 91 octane, we don't have 93 octane in California.
