Late to the party as well. There a few cans here and there that I was able to snuff out. Gallons are gone. If I didn't load the boat on FF at HD when they closed those out I might drive 45 min out of the way to get a few SS.

There are actually a very large number of stores that are slated to close but they plan on spreading out the closures potentially over years where a single store in a region at a time closes.
The nearest store going under is about 30 miles away in a rural town, there was very little warning and it wasn’t advised at all, signs went up around Christmas and I didn’t find anything mentioning it when searching for it specifically.
The store historically had Sunday hours but already isnt open Sundays and is down to limited hours the rest of the week.
Apparently from announcement to doors shut is only about a month, the employees are frustrated to be looking for work during the holidays.

The guy at AAP was like "how did you get that so cheap".. along with mispicking 2 of my filters oops.. no biggie I swapped them out.
the website busted on second order and didnt give me the 4 oil filters "free with any mobil 1 5qt purchase" but the filters were clearanced to 1$ so oh well.
Edit: I called the 1800 number and they refunded me 4.57 for the oil filters not coming off.
I'm beginning to think someone hit the wrong button somewhere.. sale prices were insane. 1.70 for M1 filters 1$ for fram force etc.

I did manage to find a few things by searching the site on my phone. If you search 'clearance' and filter to in-store only it does list most of them like the oil, Diehard tools, detailing products, etc.

Last time on something kinda like this I got a cancelation notice for ship-to-home.
AAP's inventory management and online ordering seems less than stellar. If they're getting hit hard today (Sunday) I predict some of us will see cancelations tomorrow if you tried ship-to-home as I did.
If this hit Slick Deals -- and I'm sure it did but I'm not inclined to check -- it's a near certainty AAP can't handle it.

In Texas/OKC all closing stores are done by Feb 5-9. Was told by one of the managers
My shipped order got cancelled. My in-store pickup went through. Apparently warehouse inventory does not exist.

it appears it was a combo of that and pricing file errors?? their website is terrible.. so not surprising.
Only 12 closures are active in Wisconsin out of supposedly 100+ that are to close in the state per a guy familiar with the matter on X (he posted the closures per state)
In this area they are putting in zero effort to advertise, the semi-local place has posted Jan 27 as the last day.
They were all placed this morning.
