That would explain it. They reverted all their "clearance" prices for this region yesterday afternoon.

I tried it and it doesn't work on anything.
It should surprise no one that AAP is now the laughing stock of the auto parts industry. When I picked up my clearance items I told the guy I got everything online and he didn't believe me. And, for ex Surface Shield, was on the shelf at one store for $2.95 with just a plain white price sticker...not yellow or on and end cap or special table.

Hard to get good people in places like this for the wages they pay. Sometimes you get lucky with a good person but often they aren't around for long. Onto bigger and better (higher paying) things.
I made one last trip to my local store today. Everything, except store fixtures and any remaining batteries, was 50 cents. I had a list and got everything they had left on my list, then hit the Dorman help stuff and things like that. Not much left. I think I spent $40 total.
A guy came in as I was walking out and bought everything left in the store. Everything. I guess they aren't open after today.

I bought a few more things, place is pretty picked clean
They're now moving into selling the shelving
Maybe if they're markup hasn't been insanely high, and they were a little more lenient with coupon codes, they wouldn't have had to do this
No more branded oil filters, mostly CQ brand stuff left
Junk blower motors, iffy reman compressors
I only bought the Dorman throttle body because @ $9, it's a spare
The ELD pumps and purge valves can rot on the shelf

YMMV but currently my three Advance Auto Parts only show carrying Fram oils and they aren't at bargain prices!

Interesting, I can't even replicate it with using that store. Might be a saved cookie issue.
Might also be a IP based. I get different pricing for the same stores depending on if using my home or work computer that tunnels through a different IP.
None available in my region because someone bought it all. I wonder who that could've been...

I probably spent over $1,500 on parts/oil/chemicals, etc, but I saved maybe $1,500+ (adjusting for typical AAP markup).
Most of the suspension parts, sensors, filters, etc aren't pictured. This is some of my stash. I got mostly everything from AAP, except Valvoline and Castrol oil, etc.
Mobil 1 T&S was about $2.15/qt!
