Well, they are advertising this movie pretty hard on Roku.

Now, if the first Jurassic came out in 1997... then it really is 25 years.. thought it came out earlier than that..

But. This one. It just looks exceptionally bad. I was in the theatre in the 2016 one.. I was looking at my phone more than the movie. The summer Terminator 5 came out..

Does anyone else feel like this latest and allegedly last Jurassic movie is just.. not looking good? Or is that by design. ?

The first one was great and my favorite. After that it went downhill.
The first one was novel for the effects and being the first time the book was made into a movie. All the rest of the “sequels” are the same story tweaked a bit. They will suck every last penny out of the concept even while making worse and worse movies.
The public goes to see the movies, so they get what they deserve.

So true.

Your Google is broken ...

Ah okay. First 1993. Then 1997.

I just keep seeing the trailer and I'm like wow this looks bad. Unless kids movies are just that.

The one in 2016 ? I was really not interested, I saw with.. someone and their kid. I am not even sure they were interested. Water dinosaur got the mutant one at the end.

It's all about the money, the franchise has made over $5 billion so not so easy to abandon. Although the main problem with the whole concept is that DNA from that age is not recoverable and you can't get dinosaur dna. About the oldest they can sequence now is about 1.2 million years. Dinosaurs went away 65 million years ago.

Thought you were going to say that most of the dinosaurs in it were not from the Jurassic era.

Wasnt there a brief time when they believed all dinosaurs to have feathers?

Well there's always inaccuracies in film. I remember one of those James Bond films where they cut the air lines on a truck and the guy has no brakes when in real life, if you cut the air lines, the brakes come on, not off.

I moved on from Bond some time ago. Didnt really like those even as a teen (which I would say is intended audience, so unrealistic and overhyped.)

He never reloads.

It's true, all dinosaurs DO have feathers.....they are known as 'birds'.
