Snapped a pic of the Expedition the other day. Guy in the background is my buddy Jon, owns the 2005 F-250 with the 6.0L PSD I post about sometimes.

Drivers-side fog-light bracket was bent, so it was out in the pic. It is back in now.

Truck needed a thermostat, so that was done, and the cooling system was flushed. It was DISGUSTING!!! Especially for only 150,000Km on it. We refilled it with Havoline heavy truck coolant (red). It is what Jon runs in his 'duty and has been quite happy with it.

Nope.

And it is better on gas than my Lincoln anyways. I was quite surprised how good it is on fuel if I don't flog it.

Overk1ll,
Nice ride. My son has a 06 EXP. It's a great suv. He has a large family and that vehicle serves him well.

So does it have the 2 valve or 3 valve 5.4? The 3 is supposed to be very good on gas but even the 2 valve one in my Dad's F150 does ok when its not towing.

1997–2004 Ford Expedition, 2-valve SOHC, 260 hp (194 kW) and 350 lb·ft (475 N·m)
It didn't get the 3 valve until 2005

Yup, 2V. Calls for 5w20. My mom's 2000 calls for 5w30.

It got an M1 5w20 oil change today with a motorcraft filter. FL-820S.
