2000 Ford Taurus.
The only time this car ever saw a tow truck was when the fuel pump died at 275K.

That’s a hard choice between my 1994 Ford Econoline E-150 it and my 1989 Mazda B2200 both have been great the whole time I have owned them haven’t had to do any major repairs to either one and they are both very comfortable. Much more reliable than anything made today.

any Chrysler product i have owed has been rock solid, However the 3 fords i have had has all had motors by 50 thousand miles!
My experience has been just opposite lol I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that the engine got hot after it turned off it ended up warping the block is what a Chrysler specialist told me we thought it was a head gasket but we were wrong.

My 2007 Honda Accord V6 6MT (once the defective brand new manual transmission was replaced). Since then, in 14 years I've had to replace 2 bulbs and a seized brake caliper (which was probably my fault).

A close second would be my 2000 Solara V6 5MT. I never had to fix anything on it, but I only had it for 7 years as my daughter needed a car.

My Camry has been pretty rock solid, the repairs I’ve done are to be expected for old age/high mileage. So far the intake boot from the air filter cracked from heat, the fuel pump housing plastic on top cracked, and 2 CV boots too. 241k miles, runs and drives really good!

Another good competitor was my 15’ Hyundai Sonata I traded in last December at 108k miles. 1 CV boot had started to slightly sling grease, was a cheap repair.

Probably the 1966 Ford Fairlane I had in college - 289 V8, 3-on-the-tree, manual steering and brakes. That thing took a licking and kept on ticking.

1994 Toyota Tercel probably, only ever put a battery in other than basic maintenance. We’re at 250,000 miles now and needing some suspension work. Still getting 39-42mpg on regular pump gas. I’ve run 7500 miles on Schaeffer 5w40 and the oil samples were great. Also my 2003 Ranger with a 3.0 and 5sp has been great. Bought it from Coke for $500 and I’ve put loads of miles on it. It’s my trip vehicle now.
