Hey TS - this time I was pulling YOUR chain!

But what the heck do I know, I drive a 1985 Volvo with 242,000 miles that could come apart at any time and my three chicks dig me!

As I suspected though, most folks who make domestic vehicles just don't get it ....The car doesn't have to be expensive - any Toyota/Honda or current generation VW will prove that.

Case in point: you could build a flawlessly assembled Taurus or Malibu and they would still not attract anyone who likes driving cars. GM in particular sells some very interesting vehicles in Europe - the SAAB 9/3 uses the Opel Vectra platform for example - but not in the US....
