I see. I figured the rhyming thing, but did not know there was a specific "let me dog my truck thing". They are good trucks though IMO
Oh yeah, it's like a whole thing. My son is now in a "group", another Ranger buddy of his has one with body parts off like 3 different trucks (one being a Mazda). It's like the Jeep Wrangler people, they are their own breed.

So knowing this, how mad can you be at son when he follows suit?
 
I have those Toyo Open Country AT3's on our Defender. Seem to work just as well as the BFG K02's they replaced.

Always annoyed me we never got the V6 over here. Only a 2.5 4 cylinder diesel.
 
I mean, he already took it offroading with the super sketchy Hercules tires that were on it that were mostly bald and somehow didn't manage to get stuck, so I guess, impressed, kinda, is the feeling? :ROFLMAO:
You reckon Hercules are sketchy? I thought they were pretty good. I used a pair on a DMAX work truck and they last just as long as Michelins and Coopers. Or is it just you specific ones as they were at the end of life?

Thanks, I thought so! I had Toyo's on my F-250 and was always very impressed with them (it was, like his truck, 2WD).

We drove up to the cottage yesterday afternoon, which is about a 2 hour drive. He brought up the Ranger, which is the longest trip he's made in it, and it performed beautifully. We did get hammered with a bit of rain, and the tires were excellent he said, which I was very happy about, as this drive was the reason I pushed him to get them changed before the weekend, along with the u-joint replacement.
 
The Toyo OCIII are great tires, I've had 3 sets. On either of my Jeeps I rarely had to use 4WD on road in the snow. Excellent off road, surprisingly good in the mud for an AT.
