'No Country for Old Men' is also an excellent novel. Cormac McCarthy doesn't use quotation marks for dialog and he *gasp!* skips apostrophes.

The Departed, Band of Brothers.

There Will Be Blood has some great acting in it...

No Country for Old Men left me hanging at the end and it [censored] me off lol.. good movie though

The Departed was an excellent film. DiCaprio is a solid actor despite some of his wacky Hollywood views on things. American Gangster was solid too, but when you have Denzel and Crowe in the same film, it is hard to go wrong. Tonight I plan on watching AVP The Requiem. Not gonna take it too seriously, but I really like the Predator series.

i totally forgot American Gangster. dang good movie.. the acting was great in that film too

If you haven't already, check out Beowulf. The computer generated characters look really cool. The monster in that movie just evil. He actually bites off a dude's head and starts chewing it.

You'll need a 7-year category: the movie was released in 2001.

We both just adore this movie. It is compelling in every way.

Kingdom Of Heaven

directed by: Ridley Scott

Liam Neeson, Orlando Bloom, Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, Ghassan Massoud, Brendan Gleeson

Balian of Ibelin travels to Jerusalem during the crusades of the 12th century, and there he finds himself as the defender of the city and its people.

That movie I mentioned is not exactly historically accurate however. We like it for the sentiment it imparts. I feel, it is only fair to mention, that I was a HUGE fan of Chip and Dale cartoons as a girl.

I like Rendition a lot.

I rented "In the Name of the King" and it was the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. Uwe Boll cannot make a watchable movie.
