The DBL0832.
13/16-16
Captures 97.6% of 15 microns particles, normal 8 microns, fo real this time. No leaks.
Drawbacks:
Costs more.
Longer than a typical oil filter, may not fit your application.
Can't get it at Walmart, have to order it
Made in Mexico.
Benefits:
Costs more.
Not made in china.
Kinda long.
No leaf spring end cap.

if only i could get this in the factory LS truck mount, specs are amazing and cost isn’t an issue over extended OCI’s. great work!

Donaldson Blue filters are expensive, but if I were considering leaving a filter on for two oil change intervals, Donaldson would be what I wanted on a heavy duty vehicle.

They don't make any DBL "oil filters" in metric sizes smaller 36mm.
I was looking for a 20x1.5 and 22x1.5mm and no luck. Maybe they'll have it as a "hydraulic filter".
I was surprised to see 13/16-16. It's the old GM size and a lot of old Diesel engines use it too.

I hit the same dead end looking at their catalog for M20 options for Honda.

If you can find them. Might be some on eBay, but verify they are the wire backed media if anyone is selling OG Ultras there.
The fram titanium og filter existence proves the "oil too clean, filter clogs too fast" belief we've seen as false. Grabbing 5 microns at 80% is a very good fuel filter for a mechanical diesel.
Be nice if they just made those again. Seems like they were ahead of their.

Yeah, if the media is designed right, like the OG Ultra and OG Titanium was, the filter can be high efficiency (and hardly lose any efficiency as it loads up), high capacity and flow very well (pretty low dP vs flow). If you haven't seen this Ascent data [ LINK HERE ], it shows how good it was.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I saw that when it was new. Pretty much has to forget about them since they weren't being made anymore.

There's a few floating around, but it's a good bar to compare to and achieve. They were pretty top notch filters.

Some of the PGI extended filters are 99.5% @ 20u and also around 82-83% @ 5u.

Service Pro is under the PGI umbrella. I'd think the other extended brand filters under PGI would be similar.

Well, DBL filters don't do us any good if no one can get them for their vehicles.
No leaf spring end cap cover and 80 something precent 5 micron particles.
These are the winners.
Where do I buy these and do you know if they sell 3/4-16, 13/16-16, 20x1.5mm or 22x1.5mm?

Question of the day: where can I buy one that crosses to PH 16?

You can get an adapter 3/4-16 to 1-16 and run a P502503. That is my plan once I run out of OG XG8as.
