You just know it must be SOP to leave an entire wing of fighters parked tip to tip on one runway! And make sure half of the B2s in existence are parked nearby! There are only 20 of those in the entire USAF.
And, of course, the concept of base security has never occurred to any modern air force, much less the USAF.

It's becoming scary how many people these days have trouble separating fantasy from reality. No wonder so many of these millennial nit wits think the Moon landings were faked, and government drones attacked us on 9/11. Makes you wonder how often they get out of their mothers basement to get a glimpse of the Sun?

You've clearly never been on a USAF base.

Their security is tight. Base access is tight. Flight line security is very tight. I've seen people put on their face with an M-16 at their back for crossing a red line on the flight line...

I don't think a giant drone with a cannon pulled around with a tractor trailer is going to be a problem.

US Military likely has many nasty surprises for a potential enemy that we know nothing of, due to top secret development. And that is as it should be. Do you show your hand when playing poker? No. As a taxpayer, I do not demand to know everything my government is doing, because not everything they do needs to be known if it is to be effective against our enemies. I fully support our military, our intelligence community, and salute all who serve and have served.

Hey, speaking of machine guns, did you know that John Browning demonstrated the M1917 machine gun for the US Army, by firing a single burst of 48 minutes, 12 seconds, that was over 21,000 rounds?

Unlike the above video, it really happened.

Agreed. I know, for a fact, that we have developed some very formidable capabilities. They remain classified.

The unclassified stuff alone should give one hope in our capabilities....

How is that better than launching surface-to-surface air-burst missiles from a truck like that?

I'm pretty sure that an airbase on a war footing, would kill that thing as soon as it took off.

An SP friend of mine was @ a base in England where another SP killed the base Public Relations officer for walking onto the flight line unescorted. (no FL badge); this was after several warnings.

They do have some concept of protecting their assets.

I can second that.

I'm pretty certain that in spite of all of your experiences, knowledge and training- that one went over your head.

I'm relatively sure he was mocking the goofy video...
