I would like to personally thank @wwillson for his service to we BITOGers. We take for granted the up-time, which is off the freakin' charts, response times, search capabilities and more. No small task...

As a veteran of large scale computer application solutions, I can tell you it don't get much better.

What the heck is a Virtual CPU anyways? I hate computers...
Maybe Wayne can give us a virtualization software bootcamp one day.

Our server runs in a virtual machine on a VMWare hypervisor. VMWare allocates CPUs to the virtual machine as vCPUs. Your VM believes it has x number of physical CPUs, but it actually has no physical resources, all are virtual. We are upping the number of vCPUs for everyone's BITOG responsiveness during our thick vs thin debates :)

Are you enjoying the new Broadcom pricing model yet? 😀
