Test Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40

Been trying to make up my mind on which oil to use for my 1.8T with a 6250mile oci. The engine has about 106kmiles on it, burns 1/4 liter during the oci and has been runing pretty quiet with Shell Helix Ultra (0W-40 and 5W-40).

The gti 20th mk4 is driven in germany and this mostly on the autobahn around 100mph most of the time. About 3-4 times a month I´ll top it out. Enginemanagement has been remapped making about 19psi, Katback, downpipe and so on...

So I´ve been considering of sticking to Shell Helix Ultra or switching to something like Mobil 1 Peak Life 5W-50, maby Mobil 1 NewLife 0W-40. But kinda worryd with the Mobil 0W-40. Last time I used it the engine was kinda noisy on start up and warm up...

Droppet GC out of my list cause of the hard driving on the autobahn i do every once in a while

Just want the engine to stay as clean as posible and last as long as possible

So anyway, what do you guys think about the test from italianspeed.com?
