P.S. For those pricey vehicles I would hope they could do better than a Nissan (excl. the Si which I've seen with overheated brakes after 2 laps at Cal Speedway)

The 370Z NISMO didn't make ONE lap. The brakes didn't just overheat, they COMPLETELY FAILED!
 
I agree the Nismo Edition should be able to handle a track day easily. Pretty lame.... Car & Driver crashed a Nismo for the reason you stated

i think its hilarious that this 3.8 is the same one derived from my former 2008 kia sedona minivan. its been pumped up a bit in horsepower since then, but i recall my minivan sounding VERY nice and it was VERY fast.
