The actions of the NHTSA regarding Tesla's autopilot system are sure putting a dent in TSLA stock price. What do you want to bet that after millions of dollars and many months, the report will come back inconclusive ?
Funny how this investigation was initiated just a few days after the current administration met with the UAW operated Big Three automakers and excluded Tesla. If the government decides to put their thumb on the scale in return for huge campaign contributions from union members, the current activity by the NHTSA is one way to harm Tesla.
