Collectible typically means that your product is non perishable. Do they have a 3rd party generic battery pack for them yet? I would have to say however if you want collectible you should get the Roadster instead.

There's refurbished battery solutions and places like Electrified Garage rebuild batteries, but this isn't much different than some proprietary issues for some ICE vehicles. That said if the cars aren't popular to keep going these aftermarket solutions won't be plentiful enough to keep it going. Just look at Tavarish on YouTube rebuilding totaled hybrid supercars. The battery replacements are well into the 6 figures for replacement since they're so specialized. They exist, but they're marketed as upgrades directly from the manufacturer with more capacity.
