Techron vs. Techron High Mileage

2002 Honda Odyssey here (19.5 gallon fuel tank), turned 220,610 miles.

Car's been using 83 octane mostly from local grocery store brand blend. Very occasionally using Shell 83 (or 93) octane.

Haven't had the opportunity to inspect the pistons with plugs removed. Will do that.

Dumb of me, took me ~21 some years to notice this TECHRON cleaners. And i just had my recent oil change few days ago.

So, for next oil change plan to have the car on TECHRON at least a full tank or so before the oil change.

Question is, should i be going for HIGH MILEAGE, more "regular" uses?

Or, a COMPLETE version, of up to 2 uses before the next oil change ?

Thanks!

Both products contain the same cleaner, just at different concentrations which is why they have different treat rates.

If you compare the concentrations to the treat rates that Chevron recommends in the image you uploaded, you'll see high mileage contains more cleaner and so it seems like a good recommendation.

Concentrations seem to change all the time when it comes to Techron formulations. These are the latest according to the SDS:

p.s. I wouldn't worry about putting it in after an oil change. chevron says it's fine to do up to two times
