What are the differences between these two types of Techron ? All that jumps out is the high mileage bottle contains 2 oz. more liquid (12 vs 10) and some silly claim to stabilize fuel for up to 24 months (who cares about having a 2 year fuel stabilizer in Techron ?) … I want to hear that the high mileage version has more PEA or some other stronger add pack to better clean up high mileage engines than regular Techron.

I recently was wondering this as well. Happened to find this thread discussing it, and someone posted a link to a comparison between them from Chevron. I remember reading somewhere, maybe on the bottle? That the high mileage had something in it for older fuel pumps. Not sure if it was a lubricant or corrosion inhibitor, but the comparison table lists a corrosion inhibitor.

IMO, I would look at Redline, Valvoline Restore and Protect Fuel System Cleaner, or Royal Purple.

But it is very hard to pass up the BOGO deals.
