Is it really worth running a fuel system treatment on modern sport bike engines?

I ride a Z900 which is an inline 4 cyl that revs out to like 12k rpm. I only run 91 non-oxy which is NOT a Top Tier treated petrol around here.

I'm at 10k miles on the bike and imagine running it out to about 30k before I look to upgrade.

I've never considered this until I watched LS Jr's vid on the subject.

Someone commented that redline sl1 is the best value since it has the most pea per buck. I'd bet it'd do something to the carb or injectors on a bike that has had ethanol run through it but you say non oxy which I think is ethanol free which in that case it may not do much if anything.

I use fuel system cleaners in my bikes and lawn equipment, my experience is that when dosed properly, it does work. Anything that uses gasoline and sits for long periods of time, will be prone to having a varnish build up where the gas makes contact and just sits there. Like inside carbs, and fuel injectors. Stale gas is the worcest. My experience has been that engines always start easier and run smoother when the fuel has been treated. I don't use anything in the oil of any engine I own. I might run a heavier grade if consumption is a issue tho.,,

Techron is one of the few fuel additives I would add to my ICE engines. I put it in my boat gas. My Yamaha 150 outboard only revs to about 5400/minute when wide open so not near the 12000 or your bike. But I can't imagine what harm could possible come from Techron. For long term storage is use Stabile Marine.

Be interesting to borescope the cylinder/ head if you can see it, before and after a tank of top tier with techron added.
Definitely, but way too big of a PITA to be worth it.

The most the bike sits is for 3-4 months during the winter and there's no ethanol in it so I've never treated it. I just fill it up with non-oxy and park it. I've never had an issue with any bike doing this. They all start right up and go full send in the spring.

I have a Z900RS Cafe and I have used for it, and all successor bikes, Techron Powersports stabilizer / fuel injector cleaner every year before I put it away. It has worked just fine and I have not had any fuel system issues with it. I also have not had the fuel go bad. I do not have high octane ethanol free here, it is only 89 or 90, so it gets E10 Amoco Ultimate 93 and the dosage of Techron at year end.

They used to sell at at Walmart but now I only see it on Amazon.

A fuel system cleaner can't hurt.
Most MC owners usually run premium brand name fuels in their bikes anyway so they are one up on system cleanliness.

I remember reading on the forum that oil dilution or contamination can follow dosing with PEA/Techron. I've considered using it in my motorcycle, but not sure if it's a good idea with a wet clutch? Chevron lists 4stroke power sports as an application, so I guess any effects must be negligible?

Techron in an engine with a wet clutch is, well, fine. Way over thinking that one. It's only diluting the oil if it gets down there in liquid form. I've never read anything that it causes issues with a wet clutch. I like to see where that came from. Every person I know that wants to use one of the best fuel system additives uses Techron in motorcycle and cars.

Techron seems to be the most respected product in this category. Toyota brand is techron (to toyota spec).
I believe it is also added to premium fuel (texaco, esso ??)
If I were you, I would use fuel which has the lubricant & cleaning additive package in already. Shell V power 99, esso supreme BP ultimate or the equivalent in your part of the world.
WIth 10 k on the engine, you won't need concentrated additives unless the engine has been running very poorly & burning oil over that period

Here in the states just look for top tier gas stations. Higher levels of fuel additives than non top tier gas. www.toptiergas.com They are plentiful where I live as is ethanol free gas. Win-Win.

PEA is the active, effective cleaning agent. Techron has it and some Gumout have it. It will say contains PEA on Gumout bottles on the variations that contain it.
I use that *&%$@ in everything.
