I went to West Marine to get 2 cycle oil for my jet-ski.They had tc-w3 for outboards and they had 2-cycle oil for a pwc that cost more then twice as much.Could someone tell me the differance?
Make sure to run the NON TCW III oil in the SeaDoo. Bombardier sells a good quality oil that will work just fine in the SeaDoo. I hate to put it this way, but the superior lubrication of the NON TCW III oils is what it takes to keep the SeaDoo engines alive. There are plenty of good choices for that SeaDoo engine. MX2t/Mobil 1 racing 2t is one of the best. Many interesting things are going on in that SeaDoo engine. Not the least of which is rotary valve lubrication. Bombardier also uses the liquid injection oil to lube some bottom end bearings and gears.
I am not a Yamaha expert, but I believe the Yamaha can use TCW III oils.
