Mercury Outboard 2 stroke oil question

I know from experience the Premium Plus emits less smoke than the Premium and plugs last longer. This is from use in a Mercury 8hp and a 50hp Yamaha Jet.

The Mercury Premium Plus and Quicksilver Synthetic Blend at Wal-Mart are the same. Punch in the code into a search engine and you will eventually find it on a long list. It is the cleanest burning oil I have used in all applications and smells better than most others. However, I think the other major brands will protect your engine just as well.

Hey maybe I can keep my line after all. I love the smell of two stroke, not two stoke like FZ. LOL

Two different ways to do the same thing. The plus uses a lighter base oil but has more additive (+moly). Prem is what you might call a conventional tcw3 blend.
