What to do with TC-W oil?

Grandpa wanted to get rid of some Kawasaki brand TC-W (not TC-W3) oil before someone put it in his seadoo. Its probably at least 10 years old.

I use Pennzoil synthetic TC-W3 in my jetski. I'm thinking about either using it in the weedeater, or dumping it the gas tank on the waverunner.

Put it in the 4c engines at 500:1.

I second the 500:1 recommendation and bleed a little off in your weed eater.

2 stroke oil is good in 4c gasoline, at 1 ounce per 5 gallons, or 25ml per 15l. it works much better than MMO, being specifically formulated to be mixed with gasoline, and also works out much cheaper. I run TCW3 in all my 4c engines, because that is what is currently being sold.

It's good for 2 stroke, therefore twice as good for 4 stroke.

Add it to gas as others said 1 oz/ 5 gallons of gas. A great top oil, but keep in mind it will not soften carbon as well as MMO. But it is a great alternative, and cheaper.

I assume you guys are talking about using it in vehicles at 500:1. I know a lot of people do it, but I'm nervous about harming the catalytic converters. I think my car has at least 4 IIRC.

I could us it in the mower though.

It's low ash to ashless....you'll be good to go. It's the phosphorous that will make your poor kitty expire early...not good! My mower likes it too...really helps when you are cutting through the thick stuff. Just don't go over 400:1 (everything bogs down a bit).

TC-W3 specs require carbon removal additives along with fuel system cleaning additives. far better at removing carbon than MMO, who knows what's in MMO, snake pituitary extract?.

how would tcw3 oil in the fuel affect the engines? Will it cause carbon or remove carbon?
