Seem to be plenty in NH and Vermont.

Timmys CLOSED stores in the US? When was this? They ended their partnership with Wendy's, but kept the stores open, and their US headquarters in Dublin, OH (same as Wendy's) even stores that were a Tim's on one side, and Wendy's on the other kept both open...

My local Tim's is a co-location with Cold Stone Creamery, owned by the local Arbys franchisee

Also they just merged with Burger King, so I'd expect to see more expansion into the lower 48, as well as a BK expansion in Canaidia.

I hate to say this but; I saw this one coming along time ago.

I think I have only been in Canadian stores just a few times. High prices, bare shelves and hardly any traffic in the ones I've been in. Target is a glorified Zellers (former Canadian chain) if you ask me.

On the other hand, US stores are full of inventory and have many selections to choose from. They also offer items not available in Canadian stores which draws additional potential customers from across the border like myself.

This was not well thought out or there's something we're not being told.

EDIT:

Wow, I just read the article; I was pretty close.

We got our Chipotle before we got a Timmy's, and I'll be [censored] if a chicken Burrito, and a Double Double don't make a fine lunch.

Target announced today that they are closing all of their 133 stores in Canada.

Having shopped at a few USA Target stores, I thought them coming to Canada might be a good thing...

Except our Canadian Target store was NOTHING like the US version, limited selection, so so pricing... empty shelves.

It was like the US executives decided that Canadians wouldn't even notice... it's good enough...

I went to Target probably 3, maybe 4 times, and always left underwhelmed... I never went back, and apparently few others Canadians did either...

Target seriously dropped the ball... wonder who will fill their shoes...

I don't know about BK expanding here, most of the BK places I saw around here have closed up long ago.

You must not shop at Wally World then.
