I am looking at a KIA Stinger with only 9k miles. Talk me outta it. I am assuming the only way to buy is with an extended warranty. What's the verdict TRASH or CLASS. Reliable or not???

This could be a reason

I was looking at used with a extended warranty. Let someone else take the first hit on depreciation and pay cash.
I feel cheated out of my warranty my Lexus wont break

My wife daily drives a '21 GT2 and it's been great. She just hit 50K miles and we haven't had any issues at all. Just regular oil and filter changes.
The only concern would be potholes and the low profile tires. We've had to replace a few tires, but the roads in Worcester and Boston are awful.

No

the rule w/extended warranties is if you can afford the worst case scenario out of pocket, not buying the warranty is the way to go.
and this is that the warranty company is fair and only has reasonable hoops to file a claim.

if it was me (and I am not you): I would not buy an extended warranty, and put that money into a savings account for emergencies.
Only time I buy warranties is when I buy tires for mom, I put 4 Discount Tire certificates on those suckrs so that she won't have a hassle if she got a puncture.

If you are still interested in a warranty, talk to your regular mechanic (if you have one). Shops will have companies that they prefer to file claims with; while others drag their feet. shops want to get paid too

Warranty from the manufacturer, so hopefully for sale at the KIA dealer. If not, CarMax offers a good in-house warranty.
