OK, thank you. I know many RAV4 owners got this problem and toyota just came out with a fix for them. They replace the entire transmission with a remanufactured unit that has different angle on the final gears. They do it under 60,000 mile warranty.

Well at least by now, you know that you certainly have clean ATF in your transmission and that there is no problems/issues with your transmission, only a whine. Feel good about what you've done and sleep well knowing that you did your best. To get rid of the transmission whine means getting rid of the car!
