Syntheitc blend HM other thanMaxlife???

I recall Pennzoil used to have a syn-blend oil but they stopped making it...It was not a High Mileage oil, but I am curious

1.) are there any other High Mileage syn blend oils other than maxlife?
2.) why did Pennzoil stop making a regular syn-blend oil?

I believe Castrol High-Mileage is a Synthetic blend, and I think Mobil 1 has one too. Just curious, but do you not like Maxlife, or just looking at the other possibilities? I can attest that the maxlife is an excellent oil.

IIRC Mobil 1 High Mileage is Full Synthetic with a good add pack

I have been using Mobil 1 High Mileage 10w30 for a few years now in my High Mileage magnum V8...good additive pkg, but it burns off more than I'd like and the vehicle is retired and will not see enough miles to warrant a full-syn oil anyway.

I am "experimenting" and in my daily driver, I have maxlife 10w30 and the MPG went down and the motor isn't as "peppy" as compared to the Pennzoil High Mileage 10w30 I had in it the previous OCI...before I switch my old magnum V8 to Pennzoil High Mileage, I was curious if I had any syn-blend alternatives besides Maxlife...

Unfortunately, it would seem the ONLY syn-blend or full-syn High Mileage oil options are M1 & Valvoline...

I have heard before that the Castrol High Mileage was GP-II+ and so was the Pennzoil High Mileage???

I'd like to find a GP-III or part GP-II/GP-III mix that is High Mileage additive pkg...the choices are pretty thing, so I was lamenting that Pennzoil did not make their High Mileage oil a syn-blend or at least make a syn-blend non High Mileage oil???
