Spent all of Sunday morning in church pondering motor oil. Situation made worse by the fact that I was helping with Communion, sitting up front next to the pastor and wearing a robe.
Drained the second ARX rinse in my '87 Astro, 128k. Problem was a year-old quart of Synpower 10w-30 I had in a 5qt jug and what to do with it. Dino, more syn, blend, what? Ended up mixing the Synpower with 3.5 quarts of DuraBlend 10w-30 and an AC filter.
Of more concern was the green antifreeze dripping off the transmission.
I suppose I ought to pull the engine cover and check out the intake manifold.
