These are the results of the recent Blackstone report on my 2006 Jeep Liberty 3.7l. This Jeep has almost 54k miles and the most recent oil change included my second ARX cleaning cycle. The 3,044 miles included a trip out east to visit my son and daughter-in-law.

I posted a VOA for the Blains Farm and Fleet 5w-30 at:

The Blain's store in Sturtevant, WI sells this Citgo/Mystik private label oil by the pallet load. My most recent fill was from a 2 gallon jug from a load a three I bought this spring (on sale) for what I recall was $8 per jug. I have two and a half jugs left. I also have some odds and ends of Rotella 15w-40, Valvoline Maxlife and Synpower as well as some individual quarts of Blain's.

The previous oil fill was with 10w-30 Supertech. This was an ARX (second) rinse cycle. The lab results from that oil change are at:

The ARX is to improve that car's oil consumption. My previous posts go into much greater detail, but the improvement so far has been from ~600 miles per quart to almost 1,300. This is not as dramatic as some ARX customers have experienced, but at least it makes the car drivable.

I will report at the conclusion of this oil change and ARX rinse cycle.

This Blain's (Citgo/Mystik) oil seemed to have worked well

Thanks for your interest!

LT4 Vette,

Blain's sells lots of their private label oil even when not on sale. I would suppose that Citgo/Mystik also supplies other farm and ranch stores with private label oil too. Blain's also sells much the the regular Citgo and Mystik brands too.
