Had on 06 FZ1, broken pavement on a construction area would pull the bike to the side; fresh fluid and it barely even registered.
Ideal is a professional build as others have said, sent the rear shock for my 14' SDR off and got it sprung and valved for me and my riding. Went from squatting and running wide on corner exit to hooking up and ripping, all while riding so smooth rumble strips didn't even register. Had the same guy build me an Ohlins shock for my 13' FJR, the stocker wasn't worth doing anything with unlike the SDR that had a WP with high/low compression. Stuck Andreanni cartidges up front on the FJR and she dances nicely for 700lbs+.
