How are people still finding bottles of this stuff when it has been discontinued more than a year ago?

I can still find MO2 made in Germany Green GC here in Oklahoma simply because no one buys it, and they have a lot of left over stock, all you GC freaks need to come to OKlahoma every AZ here seems to have at least 5qts or more of Green GC
My nearest AZ currently has only pre-Green. You know, the 2001 vintage.

blupupher, Hope you have fun in OKC while your here. On the rare chance you can't find any in OKC take a short drive to Edmond (where I live, but only about 2 miles away from OKC city limits) you'll be sure to find some in Edmond, I think I might be the only one here that buys GC, but please when you come don't buy out all they have save some for me!

How are we finding 0-30 batch 01xxxxx .. That stuffs really OLD !
Ask the AZ stock control guys. They're either playing with us or they're idiots OR.............Its a conspiracy...To sell old, cheapo oil...To unsuspecting GC hunters.....

Have you looked at AZ shelves. All the AZs I have visited, and for that matter AutoShacks before them, could not physically load oil from the back of the shelf. There is no room back there. So unless they are willing to pull all oil off the rack to restock and then reload the old oil, then the last bottle is the oldest. I would wager that for many oils that have never been sold-out completely, that the last bottle is the original bottle that was stocked before opening day of the store. The only thing that gets that last bottle off the self is when they re-organize the shelf arrangment. On that day, I would wager, the last bottle may actually get rotated to the front of a new shelf position. Sometimes...by mistake...maybe...
I've been traveling the last 3 days. I've stopped by 7 AZ's and bought 30 quarts of green. Had to shuffle alot of old yeller to get to it though. Not only is it on sale, but I got a $20 gift card for making 5 purchases over $20, and I used it to make my last purchase. Since AZ in Alabama doesn't charge tax on oil, it works out to $3.92 a quart!
glxpassat, the south strikes again! This green stuff is still all over the place.
You just need to go to AutoZones that are in Ghetto areas - Tons of GC Green left there. This is where I found ONE quart of GC Green...

I went to a small town about an hour from where I live last night. A childhood friend of my wifes had passed away. While she was at the funeral home, I slipped away to the only Auto Zone in town and scored 4 quarts of M02 green. Not bad, I'm happy and the wife didn't even know I'd gone.
