I noticed this viscosity for the first time while I was in WM today (Canada). As I recall it was mid $7 (Cdn) for a litre.

I guess there have been UOAs for this particular Tech2000?

I have not seen any in my area yet. But If and when my local Wally World gets some in , I will do a VOA and TBN.

You knew this from a UOA?
Nope - Engine ran bad. For those of us who know when an engine is running good without a stinking UOA. Noisy, low power, bad rev-ability. Engine runs poor - UOA is moot.

For anyone willing to put up with the "Noisy, low power, bad rev-ability" for a full OCI it might be interesting to see if a UOA would confirm that the oil is actually not doing its job of protecting its engine or if they are independent of each other.
