Nope, at least not on any I've looked at (the 3614, and 3593). The disclaimer on the box does say that the filter in the box may not resemble the picture (or vice versa... I'm really tired)
You can make any kind of rubber in orange.
Well the SuperTech can is not really yellow.

I looked one over pretty good yesterday, and it appears their new and improved packaging is to make the filter look as much like a Mobil 1 as possible. The sticker on the side of the can is almost exactly like the Mobil 1 I put on last night. The outer box just appears to be a dress up so they can sell more.quote:

But to answer your question directly, no it is not a silicon ADBV, I checked one of the new one's yesterday at Wally's just to be sure.
They know what sells.. people don't usually like 'generic' looking things, like a plain box, plain can.
