Supertech MP7317 - cut open - 8,000 miles

A lot of people thought all you got for a few extra dollars was blue paint and a silicone ADBV. True or not they were a good value overall.

I don’t know if media between the standard and MP was ever compared under magnification or not, but unfortunately a moot point now.

I can’t get the MP series even online. Maybe it’s on close out.

The Champ XLs are basically identical to the MPs.

And also the Canadian Tire OE Plus ( for north of the border).

The efficiency printed right on the box of both SuperTech versions was exactly the same - 99% @ 30u. Maybe there was a bit more media area in the 20K mile rated MP version with the silicone ADBV to increase holding capacity. Whip City might validate that since he measures media area.

They are gone from the stores here in the Galveston area but can still be ordered online

I wish they would’ve kept the st7317 size instead of consolidating the 7317 size to the 6607
